After nine years and more than 100 professional photoshoots, Travel Weekly’s Cover Stars competition is celebrating its 10th anniversary in style with a spectacular VIP trip and partnership.
We are also working for the second year running with official travel partner Gold Medal, which will fly our winners to Florida in style with Virgin Atlantic.
The Cover Stars trip will head to Orlando from October 3-11, 2019, with the winners’ photos featuring on our front covers throughout 2020.
The winners will stay in the brand-new Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and their photoshoots will take place across Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and on Disney Cruise Line at Port Canaveral.
As always, the competition is open to frontline travel sellers in the UK & Ireland, and to celebrate the competition’s 10th anniversary, entries are also open to previous winners!

Peter Welch, vice-president for Disney Destinations International UK & EMEA, said: “We are thrilled Walt Disney World Resort in Florida will be providing the backdrop for the 10th edition of Travel Weekly’s Cover Stars.
“Trade continues to be an important part of the UK business, and we are very proud of the strong partnerships that we have with key trade partners who sell our packages and tickets."
“UK agents play an especially important role for our first-time guests as they help simplify the booking process and provide tremendous knowledge of the product and service. We look forward to welcoming the 12 Cover Stars to locations around Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, very soon.”

Lucy Huxley, editor-in-chief of Travel Weekly Group, said: “As we celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2019, we have reiterated our commitment to ensuring our readers are at the heart of everything we do, and there is no better example of this than our Cover Stars competition.
“Over the past decade, we have been proud to put our frontline readers front and centre of our magazine, with an agent Cover Star appearing every month to talk about an array of incredible VIP experiences and photoshoots courtesy of our amazing sponsors and partners.”
She added: “As we continue to develop new ways to celebrate and feature our readers, we felt our 10th edition of Cover Stars would be a fitting finale, and we couldn’t have hoped for a more supportive partner than Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, which will offer some incredible locations for our final 12 cover shoots.”
